13:28    c
13:30    speaker starts the talk
13:30    bag next to the speaker could be stores elsewhere :-)
13:31    overview shot too long. Speaker or slide preferred 1)
13:32    show speaker more close up
13.38    don't get the idea behind "overview" shots - for me it's too often used
13:39    1)
13:44    1)
13:46    1)
13:50    New slide. Full slide would be nice a bit earlier
13:56    Slide changed. Second later speaker was shown. Let the slide sit a bit longer, so that a viewer can read the text
13:58    Speaker referred to the content of his slide. Slide could be showed  a bit quicker.
13:59    Q&A session begins
13:59    leaving audience is shown
14:00    a bit more nose room
14:00    1)
14:01    leavnig audience is shown. more narrow view
14:02    no audio from the microphone in the audience or internet (2nd question)
14:05    Quesion from the internet: again no audio signal, just via room microphones
14:05    (capo was informed)
14:07    1)
14:10    herald ends talk
14:10    takl ends

--> Sharp camera shots, no shaky pictures. Calm switching between sources.
Overview  shots could be used not that often. When used in the running talk, show  it not that long. Supersource mode was used in a very good way.
I  prefer to see the speaker in a more narrow view. The wider view is  nice, to get a feeling about the location. In the running talk, for me a  more narrow view (like qt 13:48) is preferred.
For me in a talk I am mainly interested in the slides and the speaker.
At 14:05 very nice, not to follow the speaker with any tniy little movement

[14:27] stream starts
[14:28] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[14:28] speaker starts the talk
[14:29] shaky panning while on
[14:31] Image of speaker seems blurry
[14:33] tilting while on, closer shot would have been nice (but not necessarily possible)
[14:36] nice usage of side-by-side
[14:41] shaky adjustments while in picture-in-picture
[14:42] nice switch to picture-in-picture when the speaker mentioned the map
[14:45] nice frame, but with heads walking through and no need to show both speakers, only one is speaking
[14:48] why camera 3?
[14:52] switch speaker -> slides -> cam 3 -> speaker unnecessary
[14:53] nice cut back to speaker, right in a pause between two sentences
[14:56] nice use if picture-in-picture
[14:59] too much headroom
[15:00] nicely framed shot
[15:01] talk ends
[15:02] cut speaker at the right side
[15:09] stream paused

-->  Overall pretty wide shots, closer zoomed in would have been nice at  times. Don't show wide shot with two speakers or even cam 3 when only  one is talking for a long time.
At the end one cam could have done close-up of herald, second cam of the two speakers.

[16:09 ] stream starts
[16:09] start stream befor harold starts on stage please
[16:09] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[16:10] Cam is tilted / the slides are visiable at top
[16:11] speaker starts the talk
[16:11] mic picks up to much ambient noise of speaker
[16:13] speaker walks to much in to the left frame
[16:13] why cut to cam 2? The waiting speaker is a bit boring
[16:14] hard movement at cam1
[16:14] cam1 sweap wasn't smooth
[16:15] corner of speakers desk is in frame
[16:16] nice time of cut to cam2.
[16:18] cam2 tilted down
[16:19] duration of slide view seems good
[16:20]  Slide with many green ( lila) dots needed a thin bit more time, it's  vary abstract, so I need time to apply the speakers words to the picture
[16:22]  Picture in Picture would be good. The slides only get meaning through  the talk. So more time on slides, with a tiny bit of speaker.
[16:23] slide is missing in fullscreen.
[16:23] to much time on audiance. Although the claps weren't that log. So bad luck.
[16.24] Slide was delivered :-)
[16:26] cam2 got lazy? The frame trys to keep the frame
[16:27] The switch of the speaker wasn't nice. Please switch cams for this moment. Keep second cam ready.
[16:28] Don't show the waiting speaker at his phone. But maybe it's funny ;-)
[16:29] Frame of speaker is ok, but the 35c3 banner is somewhat cutoff
[16:31] Slide time was good
[16:31] Again to much time on the second speaker. I find this distracting.
[16:32] Peoples heads are visible in video
[16:33] Ether cut to cam1 or use picture in picture.
[16:33] I liked the shot.
[16:34]  Again, this would be a great moment for slides AND speaker on screen.  This way the viewer can connet the spoken and written words better
[16:36] Hm. A tiered waiting speaker is a bit sas (but this is probably his own fault ;-) )
[16:37]  Good framing. 35c3 banner is in shot. Speaker is close enough to get a  feel of her mimics. Enough space for movement of speaker.
[16:39] Slide came seconds after I wished it was shown. Good!!
[16:41] Mic of second speaker is off.  Was off.
[16:49] talk ends
[16:49] Harald is a bit cut off
[16:49] Stream ends

-->  I had many small critics. Overall i liked the stream. If I watched it  on my own, without a particular observing task, there would be only one  thing: use a view where speaker and slides are seen. Thanks!
Ok,  I just heard, there was only one camera angle. This makes many critics  nonsens and good work to dilivere this in that quality :-)

[17:10] Good: Slide right in time

[17:12]  something happend to audio - Change from DeskMic to Headphone Mic?! | somehow better but not perfect still

[17:16] Good: You get the new slides
[17:25] You missed the slide for some seconds...
[17:27] You missed the slide for 5 seconds
[17:28] Why did you change to AudienceMode? Portrait was fine - for me...
[17:30] Good: You got the slide right in time
[17:31] Good: Here we are again on portrait
[17:35]] Q&A session begins
[17:35] Signal Angel Microphon wasn't up in time - disrupting
[17:36] Good: Camara changes between Harold & Speaker
[17:38]  Waht is actualy the standard Cameraview for Questions from the  auience?! I don't know and VideoMixer also don't ;) Video-Mixer propably  shouldn't change between audience cam and speaker portrait cam during 1  single question
[19:41] Fast Changes from Portrait to Slides to Audience, to Portrait - during one single question - why?
[19:46] Good: You have an eye for the Harold and get her Picking up the questions
[19:50] talk ends
[17:50] Stream paused

-->
In  genral nice stable Portraitview on the Speaker.  - Don't knwo weather  it's possible to have full Logo and no Screen in the top left corner?!   Often you got the slides good in time. Sometimes you missed it for like 5  seconds (You can see her clicking). For Q&A I think it would be the  best to have the Harold for collecting the question and Speaker during  the question is asked and don't change to AudienceView

[18:02] Stream starts with herald mid sentence during defragmentation
[18:02]  Camera lost herald and showed black for 15 seconds (maybe overview cam  could be shown for those few seconds so as a viewer I understand where  we are)
[18:05] Camera does not follow herald and keeps only adjusting after herald out of frame
[18:06] Good switch to slide for web url!
[18:07] Wrong slide in full screen
[18:08] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[18:09] speaker starts the talk
[18:09] Good switch to spreaker for raised hand!
[18:13] Good choice to switch to full screen (still not readable, but thats not an A/V issue in this case)
[18:19]  I like the choices when to show side by side and when slides are full  screen for small text. Supports the speakers talking style with showing a  slide but only refering to it from time to time
[18:25] Windows in demos are too small for side-by-side, should show full screen
[18:28] Spreaker walks around without camera following, walks half out of the frame multiple times
[18:32] Big logos could be shown with side-by-side view
[18:34] Good timed decision to go to full screen for video
[18:34] Video sound from laptop is very quiet (but still audible)
[18:40] talk ends
[18:40] Q&A starts
[18:40] Good switches between herald and speaker (could maybe be a bit earlier to speaker in the first question)
[18:47] Speaker almost walked out of the frame again (but walked back in the last moment, I did not see any camera movement)
[18:49] Good follows from herald cam
[18:49] Stream ended mid sentence from herald (trying to the next talk). Should wait until herald walks off
-->  Generally very good mixing choices! Camera 1(?) should react a bit  earlier to speaker walking off, looks like it was just luck that he  never fully walked out of frame. Stream should have started earlier and  ended later, showing the herald is a part of the stream.

[19:04] herald starts with addressing audience to move for better seating
[19:05] return to interstitial pause animation and music
[19:05] herald intro the next talk in english, and proceeds to talk in another language
[19:06] last defrag, cam 1 tracking nice, framed waist up
[19:07]  speaker introduction
[19:08] transition to intro slide, should have happended earlier PIP
[19:10] slide resolution is very pixelated
[19:11]  audio sync is slightly off
[19:12] slide resolution looks good
[19:14] cam  2, stuff sitting next to podium obvious, less noticable in cam 1
[19:15]  cam 1  could pan a bit left to orient speaker towards slides
[19:17] could cut to just slide a moment sooner to avoid overlap on slide
[19:18] extra jump from PIP to side overlay
[19:27] side  by side or full screen switch could be sooner
[19:29] presenter  takes a loud drink, audio cut would be nice
[19:34] could switch to side by side
[19:36] presenter advances then skips slide, full screen on presenter would be better
[19:40] switched  to 50/50 split, which would have been good with earlier slides
[19:41] presenter  has way too much tiny text
[19:42] begin  Q&A
[19:46] end

Camera framing was good and stable
When there is one speaker at podium it would be nice to have cam 1 tighter for PIP, but it is already at max optical zoom
Use of full screen on presenter after explaining slide would be nice on occasion
Use of PIP overlapping white space of slides was good
Presenter  used mouse pointer to indicate on slides and was tiny, reasonably  visible when full screen, distracting when just sitting on screen and  not used though.

[21:00]  Talk seams to be starting late (already by 10 minutes), as a stream  spectator I'm not informed about any reason why, I would think they just  forgot to start the stream and fear that I'm missing the beginning,  because the delay is not reflected in the Fahrplan below the stream.
[21:00]  Asked the VOC helpdesk if they forgot to turn on the stream. They  looked at the camera pictures and said the stage is empty and no need to  worry.
[21:05]  15 minutes now. I'd definitely turn of as a spectator at home and would  think for sure they forgot to unpause the stream and forgot me as a  spectator at home :-(
[21:09]  After asking the VOC helpdesk a second time (19 minutes late now) and  explicitely asked if they are sure the talk will be streamed, they asked  the technican there and they said the talk is cancelled. We switched  the stream to show "this talk will not be broadcasted" instead of  "break" now. Why did nobody do this earlier and/or inform the VOC?
[21:13] Bye.
-->  Session canceled and we found out only after explicitely asking the A/V  technican 19 minutes after the scheduled talk. This definitely should  not have happened.

[22:09] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[22:10] speaker starts the talk
[22:13] very static/steady camera setting, could be more dynamic
[22:16] settings used so far: slides, speaker, slides with speaker in the right corner, no use of a setting with the 35c3 logos
[22:23]  no change in camera position from speaker since several minutes, always  the same angle and camera, hands of the speakers are not always in the  frame, screen with slides is also visible in the frame
[22:23] hand of speaker out of frame while pointing to slide
[22:25] disturbing part of the speakers desk in the right bottom corner  of the frame
[22:42] slides shown too long, PiP with speaker would be better
[22:45] the speaker camera angle still has not changed, why isn't the second camera used?
[22:54] talk ends
[22:55] Q&A starts
[22:55] for the first time another camera or camera angle is used, the first time that the camera frame moves
[22:58] Q&A ends

The  whole time it was used just one single camera position with bad framing  for the speaker. It would be better to vary the cameras (why was the  second camera not used?) and the camera angles or positions. Moreover  the slides were shown too long and it was always used one of the  following settings: speaker, slides or slides with speaker picture in  picture in the right corner.  It would be nice if the 35c3 backgrounds  were used to embed the speaker and the slides within an interesting  background.

[23:18] herald introduces the speaker and talk, speaks very clearly
[23:20] break screen
[23:22] break screen disappears, wide shot of stage; audience entering room
[23:23] break screen again
[23:25] herald making announcements, audio changes (for the better) during speaking
[23:28] nice picture in picture showing both speaker and herald
[23:29] speaker starts the talk
[23:29] very long wide shot
[23:31] slugg-ish reaction on slide, still fine though
[23:32] very good duration on slide showing
[23:33] good use of rule of thirds
[23:35] I don't think the viewer sees the slide at all the speaker switched to
[23:37] it has been multiple minutes since the last slide has been shown, maybe show it again to refresh one's memory
[23:39]  because of the two graphs the slide should probably take up more of the  screen for better readability (mabye use the option without the 35c3  background)
[23:40] nice fit for the audience wide shot
[23:46] showing the entire slide likes this should have been used earlier
[23:49] so far, the stream feels relatively natrual to watch, like any other 35c3 stream
[23:52] short lag, could just be my stream
[23:54] again, I as a viewer would like to see a graph more clearly/larger
[23:57] nice; whole slides for better reading for an appropriate amount of time
[00:04] nice predicition on the slide changing :)
[00:06] herald starts the Q&A
[00:09] nice shot showing the herald and speaker and 35c3 logo
[00:10] good idea to show the contact information again
[00:26] Q&A ending
[00:28] end
--> [conclusion]
-does the lower boundary of the slide have to be on video with the speaker?
-all in all the stream feels very natrual to watch, no hard errors, feels dynamic rather than static, good viewing experience
